Our Holiday Club

At Kinderling, we believe school holidays should feel magical — a time for children to make memories they’ll treasure for years to come.

Our days are full of fresh air, adventure, and hands-on fun. We head out daily to explore the beautiful Wheathampstead countryside — cycling along peaceful trails, going on nature walks, and spending time at our allotment where children help grow their own fruit and vegetables. They also care for our friendly chickens, learning about kindness, responsibility, and the rhythms of nature along the way.

Back at our cosy log cabin, children can enjoy nature-inspired arts and crafts, outdoor play in the garden, and baking homemade treats to share with friends. Our space has three special areas: the Art Room, the Library, and the Garden, offering plenty of opportunities to create, relax, and play.

Bobby is a Scout leader with the local Squirrel and Beaver group, and we’re always happy to support children working towards their badges — whether they’re part of Squirrels, Beavers, Rainbows, or Brownies. We can help children build skills, complete activities, and celebrate their achievements along the way.             

We ask children to bring a packed lunch, but we take care of the rest — including a healthy breakfast, tasty snacks, and a freshly cooked tea at 4pm to round off the day.

It’s a place where childhood is celebrated, friendships grow, and every day brings something new to explore.
